The "You & Me" project addresses a critical vulnerability in Bhutan’s agricultural supply chain, where micro-producers of perishable goods heavily rely on traditional middlemen. Consequently, local farmers receive disproportionately low profits while consumers face unpredictable pricing and a lack of source transparency. This systemic fragmentation highlights the urgent need for a specialized digital platform that bypasses intermediaries, improves market visibility, and restores trust between producers and buyers.

To bridge this gap, "You & Me" introduces a hybrid marketplace connecting local micro-sellers, particularly women and youth, directly with everyday consumers and businesses. Developed under the guidance of Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology (GCIT), the digital ecosystem includes a mobile application, a seller portal with storage options, and an admin dashboard. By implementing a unique product exclusivity mechanism to stabilize market pricing, the platform successfully eliminates intermediaries and ensures fair income for Bhutanese farmers.
